If L’Barkery Pawtella has solidified, it has not gone bad. This is normal and natural occurrence because its main ingredient is coconut oil, which has a melting point of about 24 degrees. Below this temperature, coconut oil will turn from liquid to a solid or semi-solid state.

What you can do  

You can use the Pawtella in its solid form or gently warm it to restore it to a liquid state.

To use it solid

You can treat it like a spreadable butter.

• Spread it on lick mats, inside puzzle toys, or on other treats.
• Mix it into your pet’s food, where it will soften and melt.

To re-liquefy it

The best and safest way to melt the Pawtella is with a warm bath.

• Place the sealed jar in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes.
• Avoid using boiling water, as a sudden and high heat can degrade the beneficial properties of the oil.
• Do not microwave the product, ad it can be unsafe and can destroy its valuable nutrients.
